The structural inspection aims at detecting, in advance, points of fragility which could later become a failure in the crane steel structure and cause an accident. This assessment is applicable to equipment such as STS, RTG, RMG, MHC, EHS and RS, in accordance with AWS2012 D1.1, or per customization, by the end-user. 

NDT Test:

UT, MT, PT and VT: this class of inspection methods is basically applicable to the crane structural parts and can detect problems in advance, thus avoiding accidents.

Structural Engineering Survey:
Surveying the structural frame is critical to assess the crane’s structural integrity. Movable mechanisms are also covered within such surveys and checked for abrasion, among other checks.
